For bloggers who got the Moen Shower Spa...

Can anyone tell me how much this upgrade cost you?  I hate asking for how much someone paid for something but we are really interested in this and our rep gave us a big fat NO to it without even looking into it.  Kinda pissed me off considering I know of at least 2 bloggers that got a YES from RH to do this.  Im curious how much it cost and if I should push the issue or just try to do it after the fact.

Thanks for your help.

Backsplash tile came in...some really nice ones

So my samples I just ordered 2 or 3 days ago already arrived!!  I love some of them...not so much other ones BUT they also sent me a 25% off coupon for my next purchase AND a $20 gift cert for my next purchase!  Seems loke a great company!  Anyway here are some pics of the ones I liked.  Tell me what you think.

Thinking this for the upstairs spare bath
Dont mind my hacked up nail...jammed it at work.
Possibly one of these for the spare downstairs bath.  My only concern is it looks like it would be a pain to grout the circle one.
This one is beautiful!  Pictures don't do it justice on my crappy phone camera.  It looks sort of like oyster shells.  My only concern with this on is it seems very delicate.  It arrived well packed but had 3 tiles loose or gone.
NOW...I thought for sure we would use this for the kitchen backsolash.  I love it...hubby loves it and I think it will go nice with our cabinets and counters and ties in nicely with the downstairs bathroom tile (square one)....however....

I absolutly feel in LOVE with this one!  It almost looks like little geode's in the center of the tiles.  I think it will go great in our kitchen.  Might take it up to the model to compare it to the cabinets and counters.

Great website for Glass Tile (bathrooms, kitchen backsplashes..)

http://www.glasstilestore.com/

I went on this site the other day to check out some tile for a backsplash for the kitchen and tile for the bathroom (already thinking about redoing the tile in the spare baths and we havent even broken ground....sigh)

You can get samples of the different style tiles for $1.99 plus FREE shipping!!  I ordered about $15 worth of different samples that I think I would love.  They sent me my shipping confirmation the next day PLUS a $20 gift card toward my next purchase...whether its a full order or just samples again and I guess its free shipping on ANY amount at ANY time!

Just thought I'd share it because I know we were talking about bloggers wanting backsplashes.

Not house related...FOOD related! yumm

I am a Wildtree rep.  Wildtree is all-natural dye-free preservitave free spices, sauces and mixes.  I LOVE this stuff!!  I never planned on becoming a rep.  I found Wildtree online when I was searching for better food alternatives for my family.  We are ALL hooked on it now!  I can't wait till my house is built because I actually get a PANTRY that I can store all my Wildtree stuff in (instead of the plastic totes I have it in now)  I don't do many parties or push it on people at all (I make a crapy rep) but just by bringing in samples of the products into work, I have a whole team under me!  If you are sensitive to dyes, MSG, preservatives or have have food allergies or intolerances you should give Wildtree a try.  We specialize in Grapeseed oils which are more healthy than Olive Oil.  My favorites are the dairy free butter flavor and the roasted garlic.  We have new fall editions coming to our line-up as well aand this is just a small section of what we offer......

So annoyed....but its not RH fault..

So we completed all changes 2 weeks ago and drew up the blueprints.  They have been stuck in permitting for the last 2 weeks.  So I was figuring it would be sometime this wekk or so.  I was waiting for my rep to call about the pre-con meeting....and waiting...and waiting...  no call.  My real estate agent call today and it turns out our sales rep got word that there is NO way we are going to have our permit before we leave for vacation (July 6-16th)  Im REALLY bummed out about this.  SO we wont even have our pre-con meeting for another MONTH!!!  I know its not Ryan's fault and im not mad at them at all but I was hoping to be in the house by the end of Sept.  My daughter starts school there at the end of August and we figured we would only have a couple weeks of having to travel up there (its 40 minutes away!)  Now it looks like it will be a lot longer.  :(  Im so upset.  I just hope this is a small hiccup and not a sign of things to come.  Im not patient and have a deep seeded Irish temper that I try to keep at bay, but sometimes the red-head comes out in me!  ROAR!   LOL

On a lighter not my solar lights from QVC came today and they are BEAUTIFUL!!  Look like stained glass!  Even the hubbs said he likes them alot better in person!  Cant wait to plant them on our new walkway....someday!  lol

Need advise.....

So I just looked at our communities website and they are now doing 5k toward closing and 10k in options.  When we signed we only got 5k and 5k.  Should I ask for the 10k incentive?  Have any of you signed under one incentive then switched to a updated incentive?  Do they ever honor this?  I could REALLY use that extra 5k!!!  We havn't broken ground or had the pre-con meering or anything.

Got a taste of being a "stalker"...and my tray ceiling

So there is no model anywhere of my floorplan.  No pictures...no virtual tour ...no nothing ...EXCEPT...  There is a completed, sold Palmetto Grove at a community about 40 minutes from me.  So me being curious (nosey) I figured I'd go A. to see the other community and B. to take a peek of the outside of my model.  Well I drove through and found "my" house.  I had butterflies the whole time.  I wanted to take a few pictures so I could show the Hubb's but just as I started to click the button out pops Momma Bear and her Cub!!  I apologized and tried to explain that I only wanted to see the outside because I'm building the same model and wanted to get a feel of it's "footprint".  Well Im not sure if she was irritated or just didn't understand a lick of what I was saying because she was foreign.  So I politely apologized again, got back in my truck.....and drove to the backside of the house and took pictures!!!  ;-)  Heres the front...
Now this isn't the el;evation we are getting.  This is the B without stone.  I don't like it.  Im glad we switched ours.

This is the B with stone.  This is what we had first but couldn't see dropping $7,700 on just the outside so we switched to the C with the porch....

This is our elevation.  We plan on doing stone on that middle part and the pillars on the porch once we get moved in.  RH didn't offer it.

So I visited one of the other models and noticed they had a tray ceiling in the dining room.  I LOVED it.  I saw on our notes pages for our model that it is offered as well but couldnt fine it in the option sheets.  Long story short it wasn't actually available and was a typo so if we want it, it will cost around twice as much and will delay start of construction about a month.  /sigh  I would realllllly like it but not at the cost of waiting an extra month.  So I think we may do a coffered ceiling once we get in there in the dining room.  Anyway heres a picture of the model one...
