So exhausted...

Poor hubby is too. He ende up askin for tomorrow off. We have a lot put away but there's so many more boxes ...staring at us...mocking us.... Lol

I am SO in love with the house!! I haven't slept this good in years! Tomorrow our new KING size temper-pedic bed comes! Can't wait!!!!

We had SO much fun trick-or-treating with the neighbors last night. These people (some of them) go all out with decorations. My little pirates had a blast!

The only negative I have to say is the standard dishwasher is TERRRIBLE!!! My 5yr old does a better job than that thing...and it's te loudest machine I've ever had! Hopefully we can replace it soon.

I'll post pics as soon as our computer gets up and running. Hope everyone had a great weekend! Everyone's progress looks great!!! Very exciting!

  3. Good to hear you are going to be shopping for something you like. We paid for the stainless upgrade and to be honest if we had been able to choose we wouldnt have chosen what we are getting. I am going to settle for the stuff we have but in the distant future I can see me changing it up.

  4. Sorry about the dishwasher disappointment. I hope ours is okay. Somehow I think we wont mind it, since I've been living with five kids and no dishwasher for nearly a decade.

Did anyone take a fridge from Ryan? How do you feel about it?

  5. One thing folks should keep in mind is that there are multiple levels of appliance upgrades and the first stainless ugrade is most likely just a "color" change...not really a better appliance. Get the model numbers of both packages and see if it really is an upgrade to better appliances. Ask to see all the appliance packages available.

  6. RIGHT BD!!! I dont think ours would be any better if it was painted silver! I WILL upload the model number once I get a minute to find it. But I thought I may be jumping the gun on the thing .....no...its horrible! I pulled a flithy bowl out of the cabinet today. NEVER had that with my old OLD GE dishwasher.

  7. Not being happy with the dishwasher is a pretty common theme. Based on my buying experience I would say you should spend in the $700 to $1000 on a dishwasher to get a really great performing one and one that is super quiet. We are very pleased with the one we got...it is soooo quiet we have had to get within 5 feet of it to see if it is running and we have yet to have something come out dirty or not dry. I know it is hard to find time to update the blogs after moving in but would love to see some pictures.
